On-line pledging is quick, easy, and secure. You don't have to change how you fundraise! You just need to spend an extra 10 minutes adding a new tool that will help you reach your fundraising goals faster. You will also have a chance to win an iPad2 just by receiving pledges on-line! (receive 1 ballot for every $50 raised).
How to Sign Up to Raise Funds Online
1. Go to the website www.easternnl.kintera.org/bfks2012
2. Click Register to Bowl. Indicate if you want to … join a team, start a Team, or join as an individual
3. If you participated in Bowl for Kids Sake on-line last year, look for the click here at the top of the page where it asks if you have participated in a “Friends asking Friends” event. Enter your username and password from last year (contact us if you can’t remember your username)
4. If you are new to Bowl for Kids Sake on-line fundraising, just fill in your contact details and choose a usernameand password.
5. Set up your individual page. Click “Start Here!”on “MY HQ” and you will be guided through all of the tasks. Update your page anytime by clicking the My Webpage tab of your HQ
6. To log back in, just click on My Log-In
7. On Bowling Day, click on the Reports tab, click donation report, printit and bring it with you!
Making the Most of Online Pledging
1. E-mail! E-mail! E-mail! Research shows that you will be more successful if you e-mail people three times. Send an email to yourself and then forward it to your family, friends & colleagues (easier than setting up on-line address book). Click on e-mail tab. The text is already prepared, just e-mail yourself.
2. Add a picture or video of yourself to your page so people know it is really you fundraising.
3. Ask your Facebook friends & Twitter followers to sponsor you. Look for links under the Email tab.
4. Add the link to your on-line pledging page to your e-mail signature.
